Kur Kur Spinning Under the Earth

“Kur Kur Spinning Under the Earth” is Kenjiro Okazaki's first artist's multiple in book form, produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Nantenshi Gallery and available online exclusively at TAIK2. Combining Okazaki's own text with cut-out characters and watercolor prints, the work is presented as a boxed picture book. The prints reproduce the color and texture of the original watercolors with remarkable fidelity. As the pages turn, their colors overlap successive spreads like falling leaves, creating a spinning, wandering experience held in the hand—as the title suggests.
A signed and numbered limited edition.
