ソンマルランドは、白と淡いブルーの細い縞が爽やかな壁紙です。このような細いストライプは19世紀末にも見られ、特に1900〜1930年代に人気を集めました。明るく風通しのよい世紀転換期のサマーハウスを思わせることから、「夏のストライプ」を意味する名がつけられています。
ロゼポムンダル（Rose På Mölndal）は、スウェーデン・Mölndalの壁紙工房LIM & HANDTRYCKの壁紙を表紙に使用したオリジナルノートです。輪転印刷機によって生まれる凹凸と、ミネラル顔料や土系顔料による深い色合い、豊かな手ざわりをお楽しみいただけます。
壁紙ならではの美しさを活かすため、見開きの両面に壁紙を贅沢に使用し、裏表紙には特殊な厚みの板紙を採用しました。本文用紙には空気を含んだような嵩高紙を使い、見た目の厚みに反して軽やかに仕上げています。製本を手がけるのは、国内の熟練した製本職人。スウェーデンと日本、それぞれの技術と伝統が出会った一冊です。

Sommarrand is a fine stripe in white and pale blue. Narrow stripes like these appeared in the late nineteenth century and were especially popular between 1900 and 1930. The name means “summer stripe”, after the bright, airy summer houses of the turn of the century.
Rose På Mölndal notebooks are bound in wallpaper from LIM & HANDTRYCK, a workshop in Mölndal, Sweden, where it is printed on a nineteenth-century rotary press in colours mixed by hand from mineral and earth pigments. Each notebook is finished by skilled bookbinders in Japan.
